Dogs on the beach: What is allowed and what is not
Zandvoort is an ideal destination for a holiday with your dog! Whether you want to explore the beach, take walks in the dunes or just want to enjoy the coastal air, Zandvoort offers many possibilities for you and your four-legged friend. Still, there are some rules to keep in mind.
What is allowed:
In the period from October 1 to April 15, dogs are allowed to come to the beach throughout the day. The beach is designated as a whole as a walking place and they do not have to be on a leash.
What is not allowed:
From April 15 to October 1, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Outside these times they are welcome on the beach. Do you still want to walk your dog on the beach between 9 am and 7 pm during this period? Then that is possible on the beach past Parnassia in Bloemendaal aan Zee. 🐾
