The story behind Zandvoort Ferienwohnungen

Five years ago I started my own B&Bs at home – a passion project that soon grew into much more. Villagers came to me asking if I wanted to take over the management of their homes or B&Bs. This felt like an opportunity to further develop my passion for hospitality. The idea of offering guests a warm welcome and giving them an unforgettable stay appealed to me a lot.

Not much later, “Zandvoortferienwohnungen” was created, a booking platform specifically aimed at our German neighbours, who make up about 90% of our tourists. This platform is designed to provide both landlords and guests with a flawless experience.

At Zandvoortferienwohnungen everything revolves around personal attention and a feeling of coming home. We ensure that guests feel welcome from the first moment, while landlords can trust that everything will be arranged down to the last detail. From a warm welcome to excellent communication and an eye for detail – we always strive for the highest standard.

What once started as a small initiative in our village has now grown into a successful and sustainable company that we work on with passion every day. Our goal is simple: to unburden landlords, make guests happy and at the same time give something beautiful back to the world around us.

What we stand for

Our love of hospitality goes hand in hand with our love of nature. We believe that we must take care of what we love. And let’s be honest: nature is close to our hearts! That is why we are happy to pay 0.5% of each booking to Stichting Noordzee. In this way, we do our part to restore the balance between man and nature. It is misschien een klein gebaar, maar samen kunnen we een groot verschil maken.

Our mission, vision and future goals

At Zandvoortferienwohnungen we combine hospitality with care for nature. We love the beach, the sea and the beautiful surroundings that make Zandvoort so unique. That is why we are proud to donate 0.5% of each booking to Stichting Noordzee to contribute to a sustainable future.

Our mission? Offering guests a warm welcome and at the same time taking responsibility for the world around us. Together we can make a big difference with small gestures. Enjoying and doing something back for nature go hand in hand with us!

Also heart for the North Sea?

Stichting De Noordzee is the only independent nature and environmental organisation that focusses specifically on the North Sea. The largest nature reserve in the Netherlands. For 40 years, they have been the social organisation for a clean and healthy North Sea. Together with Zandvoortferienwohnungen, they are working on the protection and sustainable use of the North Sea.

 Geverifieerd Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Apartment ist toll gelegen, nach Haarlem und Amsterdam kommt man ebenfalls schnell mit der Bahn, die in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Der Strand war im Winter wunderschön, viele Strandbars waren noch geöffnet und boten ein gemütliches Plätzchen am Kamin. Das Apartment ist stilvoll, gemütlich eingerichtet. Für uns war es ein perfekter Kurzurlaub.

 Geverifieerd Die Unterkunft war perfekt gelegen 2 Minuten vom Strand entfernt, direkt gegenüber von einem Supermarkt und nur 5 min vom Zentrum von Zandvoort (und damit vom Bäcker und anderen Geschäften) entfernt. Die Wohnung war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Leider war es zwischenzeitlich recht kalt in der Wohnung und die Ausstattung der Küche mit Geschirr hätte besser sein können. Insgesamt sind wir aber sehr zufrieden mit nur kleinen Abstrichen.

 Geverifieerd Wir wurden sehr nett von unserer Gastgeberin begrüßt, die unserem Sohn auch gleich die tolle Spielzeugsammlung gebracht hat. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und bietet auch mit Kleinkind genügend Platz (was in der Umgebung nicht so einfach zu finden ist). Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und lädt zum Kochen mit Zutaten direkt vom Markt (immer mittwochs) oder vom Supermarkt gegenüber ein. Die Lage war praktisch weil man schnell im Ort und am Strand ist. Parktipps haben wir im Vorfeld bekommen, das Parken direkt vor dem Haus ist nämlich sehr teuer. Wer ohne Auto anreist, hat es nicht weit zum Bahnhof. Auch praktisch für Ausflüge nach Haarlem oder Amsterdam.

 Geverifieerd Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir empfehlen diese weiter.Für zwei Personen mit Hund war die Größe optimal. Schön eingerichtet und genau wie auf den Fotos dargestellt.Wir haben häufig dort gegessen und gekocht, weshalb wir die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche sehr zu schätzen wussten. Der sonnige Balkon war mein Highlight: optimal für einen ruhigen Start in den Tag. Ich möchte außerdem die grandiose Lage betonen. Wir sind ohne Auto angereist, weshalb es für uns wichtig war gute Anbindungen zu haben. Den Strand, den Bahnhof und das Zentrum erreicht man in 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Direkt gegenüber ist ein Supermarkt, super für „kurz mal was holen“.Trotz des Supermarktes empfanden wir die Wohnung als ruhig und haben uns sehr ungestört gefühlt.Am lautesten war das Vögel zwitschern, schöner geht’s nicht :-)Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt!

 Geverifieerd We booked the place relatively spontaneously and were lucky. Zandvoort is a little more expensive overall and if you want to have a lot of space within an appartement you gotta have luck. The place came with a bedroom, a living room / kitchen, small dining area and a balcony. Just as described. The price is unbeatable for what you get. But please keep in mind that there’s a security deposit included which will come into play after booking with AirBnb. Almost everything is walkable in Zandvoort but it was nice to have only a few minutes to walk to the beach. We did not spend much time at home but were satisfied with our stay. Check-In and Check-out were super easy. The host was very friendly and responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again.
